Seat belts are safety pieces used on equipment, such as airplanes, or when working at height and performing art performances. There are three main materials for safety belts, namely: high-strength polypropylene, polyester, and nylon, each of which has the following characteristics:
1. High strength polypropylene
High-strength polypropylene is made of polyethylene fiber, commonly known as PP, 40CM wide high-strength polypropylene webbing breaking tensile force can reach 1.7 tons. Can cope with most of the use requirements, but high-strength polypropylene is easy to weather, the service life is only one year, but because of its ultra-high cost-effective advantages, it is often more favored by consumers.
2. Polyester: (structured and not wrinkle)
Features: high strength, good impact resistance, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, moth resistance, acid resistance and alkali resistance, good light resistance (second only to acrylic), exposure for 1000 hours, strong maintenance of 60-70%, poor moisture absorption, difficult dyeing, easy to wash and dry the fabric, good shape retention. It has the characteristics of "washable and wearable".
The service life of safety belts made of polyester is generally 2-3 years.
3. Nylon (strong and wear-resistant)
The biggest advantage is strong and wear-resistant, which is the best one. Small density, light fabric, good elasticity, fatigue resistance, good chemical stability, alkali resistance and acid resistance!
The biggest disadvantage is that the sun resistance is not good, the fabric will turn yellow after a long time, the strength will decrease, and the moisture absorption is not good, but it is better than acrylic and polyester.
Service life 2-3 years.
